![]() ![]() ![]() Blood 2, without it, has some major slow down issues and a lot of crashing problems. It doesn't affect any game you use it in, it just makes it so it runs right. Something that I'm curious about though is my use of dgVoodoo, would it be allowed? dgVoodoo is, to put it simply, a wrapper for old DirectX to DirectX 11. Whether or not this will be important, I don't know, but 1.01 may just be the preferable version if certain levels have a lot of slopes. The biggest changes come with the 2.0 patch, which removes the ability to climb slopes greater than 60 degrees, and adds a sliding effect for slopes greater than 45 degrees. Now, here's the thing with the patches: 1.01 makes the Episode 1 Naga boss more aggressive. I have Nightmare Levels offical expansion being started alongside the game which can be removed at any time as it doesn't affect the original game. ![]() So, as I wanted to try my hand at speedrunning (completely new to this whole thing and mostly new to the community), I figured I'd try my hand at Blood 2 and start a new topic for it to see if anyone else wants to run this game.įirst off, the version I'm using (and the version I would guess everyone else is using) is 2.1, the latest patch and the version sold on GOG and Steam. There were threads on this game, but the latest one was five years old and the one before that is almost 10 years old. ![]()
